Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to your most common questions about our programs and services.
We offer both! Group lessons (typically 4-6 swimmers) are great for building confidence and social skills while learning alongside peers. Private lessons provide one-on-one attention and faster progression for those with specific goals or schedules. We also offer semi-private lessons for 2-3 swimmers who want to learn together.
We offer swim lessons for all ages, from infants as young as 6 months old through adults. Our program is structured by skill level rather than just age, so each swimmer gets instruction tailored to their abilities. We have specialized classes for toddlers, kids, teens, and adults, including beginner through advanced levels.
Lesson length varies by age and program. Our toddler and beginner lessons are typically 30 minutes to maintain focus and prevent fatigue. Intermediate and advanced lessons run 45-60 minutes. Private lessons can be customized to your schedule and goals, ranging from 30-60 minutes per session.
For your swim lessons, please bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. We also recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated. For younger children, swim diapers are required. If you have long hair, a swim cap can be helpful but is not required. All other equipment needed for lessons will be provided.
Water fear is completely normal and we specialize in helping swimmers overcome it! Our instructors are trained in gentle, patient approaches that build trust and confidence at each child's own pace. We never force a child into the water and use positive reinforcement, games, and gradual exposure to help them feel safe and comfortable. Many of our most confident swimmers started out afraid of the water.
